Norman Augustus Black
is an American retired professional basketball player in the CBA, NBA, and PBA who has since settled in the Philippines. He is also a former head coach of the San Miguel Beermen, Mobiline Phone Pals, Pop Cola 800s, and Sta. Lucia Realtors. He is currently the head coach of the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP.
Alexander S. Arespacochaga
is the assistant coach of the Ateneo de Manila University's Men's Basketball Team. He has been part of the team for the past 18 years, as a college player from 1993-1998 and as assistant coach since 1998. He also enjoyed a stint as head coach in 2003. Upon graduating with a degree in AB Interdisciplinary Studies, he became the head coach of the High School Team for 4 years while teaching World History to third year students. This year, he also serves as the Basketball Program Head of the University.
Ma. Mercedes T. Rodrigo
is the Director of the Office of International Programs, and an associate professor of the Ateneo de Manila University. She teaches in the Department of Information Systems and Computer Science. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Science of Learning Center. Her areas of specialization are educational technology, intelligent tutoring systems and affective computing. In 2011, she established the Ateneo Laboratory for the Learning Sciences through a grant from the Department of Science and Technology's Engineering Research and Development for Technology program.
She is currently studying students' behavior and affect when using intelligent tutors, educational games, and other learning software. Her collaborators include Dr. Ryan Baker of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Matthew Jadud of Allegheny College, and Dr. Sidney D'Mello, a researcher at the Institute of Intelligent Systems at The University of Memphis.
Karina Galang Fernandez, Ph.D
. is a Clinical-developmental Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is also a full-time faculty member of the Psychology Department of the Ateneo de Manila University, and teaches Developmental Psychology, Counseling Principles, and Cognitive Psychology, among others.
Mrs. Helen U. Amante
is an Ateneo de Manila faculty for twenty years. She was a former Subject Area Coordinator of Araling Panlipunan and served as Assistant Headmaster of Academic Affairs of the Ateneo de Manila Grade School- Middle School.
