Ateneo’s College Batch 72 to Launch Ruby Jubilee Book

Ateneo de Manila’s College Class of 1972 will launch its Ruby Jubilee book, Shape of Things to Come, on Friday, 7 December 2012, 5:30 p.m. at Bayleaf Hotel in Intramuros, Manila.

The 300-page, full-color commemorative book will include Fresh 69 (its freshman yearbook), Aegis 72 (its graduation annual), a 1968-1972 timeline culled from the pages of Guidon and other university publications, and an anthology of essays from batch members. The book costs P3,500 per copy.

Two popular Manila bands will perform 70s and 80s music during the launch cum cocktails and dinner—The Glass Onion Band with batchmate Tonyboy Cojuangco, and The Executive Band with another class member, Butch Silverio.

As Ateneo’s college ruby jubilarians, the group will also attend the 2012 Ateneo Alumni Homecoming on 8 December at the Ateneo High School covered courts.
